Their motto: Life is short, eat dessert first. And I agree. We went on two separate occasions both for our birthdays. It is only a short walk from the Asoke BTS station so location wise it is quite easy to get to. The decor inside is very modern with chalkboard walls and large windows making it a good place to have a cup of hot chocolate while doing some work. However, it can get busy in the mornings as it is located in an office building.
On Michelle's Birthday we ordered Cheesecake with Cherry Crumbles and Cream (my mom ordered as a surprise), Berry Pancakes, The Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows, Soft and Crispy Shell taco with scrambled eggs and pork shoulder and ricotta meatballs and a Roast Beef Panini. Overall, we really enjoyed the hot chocolate which was the thickest and most decadent hot chocolate we had ever had in Bangkok. The Taco was okay, not really anything out of the extraordinary, the roast beef we had was slightly dry and as it was described on the menu as a "french dip" sandwich we were thinking that it would be a lot more juicy than it was. The pancakes were also just regular pancakes whilst the cheesecake creamy and smooth but not overly so.
On Lyn's birthday they ordered the Nutella and Banana French Toast Brioche and the Berry French Toast Brioche stuffed with Lemon Cream cheese and topped with Raspberry Coulis. She preferred the Nutella and Banana version to the Berry one as she was more of a chocolate person. But both were just as delectable. Another dish that caught my eye was the Strawberry Coulis poured over a creamy Panna cotta.
The price range from about 150-250 Baht per dish and the hot chocolates priced at around 150 Baht as well. So it is a bit pricier than regular thai cafes but I think it is worth a visit just for their hot chocolates.
